Counselling for Crime Victims
Being a victim or witness of crime, abuse or any form of violence can leave lingering traumatic effects. Family members of crime victims may also experience symptoms grief, loss, trauma and psychological harm.
Counselling can help you develop coping strategies and ways of managing, reducing or resolving traumatic symptoms.

I have advanced training and experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing or EMDR in treating trauma and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). EMDR is a quick and highly effective treatment for Trauma that has been recommended by the World Health Organization.
Financial Assistance
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) covers counselling services including EMDR. If you are a victim of, or witness to a crime where you or someone else was injured physically or emotionally, you may be eligible for financial assistance from CVAP.
In order to process payment, your counsellor will require a copy of the letter of approval for funding from the Crime Victim Assistance Program as well as your claim number.
